MIAMI — Tropical Storm Nana, the fourteenth named storm of the hurricane season, formed on Tuesday, the National Hurricane Center (NHC) said.
NHC says Nana is 120 miles southwest of Kingston, Jamaica. Maximum sustained winds are 50 mph and the storm is moving west at 18 mph.
NHC says Nana is forecast to move north of the coast of Honduras on Wednesday and will likely approach the coast of Belize on Thursday. According to the center, Nana could become a hurricane just before landfall on Thursday.
