TAMPA, Fla. — As a cold front approaches, storm chances will be high.
A few showers will be possible overnight and into Monday morning. These showers will mainly be near the coast.
The high humidity continues on Monday. Scattered showers and storms will become more numerous. mainly in the afternoon. Plan to keep the umbrella nearby. Storms will move inland.
On Tuesday, scattered showers and storms will move in from the Gulf ahead of the next cold front. Breezes will increase by the afternoon.
The next cold front will move through Tuesday night into early Wednesday. Humidity and rain chances will drop off Wednesday.
The drier air will lead to some cooler mornings for the end of the week into next weekend.
Winds will still be light on Monday, starting out of the southeast. A westerly to northwesterly sea breeze will develop.
But there will be scattered showers and storms over the Gulf and Tampa Bay.
Seas will run between one to three feet with a light chop.
Winds increase on Tuesday.
Things remain quiet in the tropics.
