Thursday morning is expected to be the coolest one of the week. Temperatures are expected to dip into the 50s and 60s. Feel free to open up the windows and have that cup of coffee on the patio Thursday morning.

It’s been awhile since we were able to enjoy a coffee on the patio with temperatures in the 60s. It’s been 138 days to be exact that Tampa dipped below 70 degrees.

Expect comfortable conditions for the rest of the workweek with highs in the low to mid 80s and low temperatures in the 60s. Feel free to open some windows to get some fresh air in the house.

The humidity and rain chances return toward the end of the weekend.

Boating Forecast

A small craft advisory is in effect into Wednesday as boating conditions are expected to become hazardous.

The next cold front will be south of the area and northerly winds will be around 10-15 knots.

Seas will remain 2-4 feet with a moderate chop.

Otherwise, expect a mix of sun and clouds with dry conditions through the day.

Tropical Update

It’s quiet in the tropics right now. A broad area of low pressure could form over the western Caribbean Sea in a few days.

Gradual development is possible later this week while the system moves slowly west-northwestward over the northwestern Caribbean.
