8 Pinellas County polling places being moved to assisted living facilities due to coronavirus concerns

PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla. — Due to coronavirus concerns, eight polling places are being moved to assisted living facilities in Pinellas County.

The Pinellas County Supervisor of Elections Office began the process of contacting voters who have not already cast a ballot. Attempts to contact voters will be made by phone calls, mail and email.

RECOMMENDED: Lack of poll workers forces Manatee County to combine some voting precincts for Florida primaries

On Election Day, election workers will be stationed at the eight original polling locations to give directions to the new ones.
